rant: back to work...
48+ hours later, i am at work...it took 1.5 hours, a hair blow dryer, a couple hammers, a broom and a ice scraper. then i started the drive...here is a photo of me "hammering" away the ice. the ice ended up being about 1 inch thick...my car the giant ice cube.
aside from that, things looked very pretty driving out of the neighborhood. ice covered plants look neat :) here is photo of a plant in the front yard.
