rant: 60...59...58...57...56...55...

So the countdown begins. b and i are 60 days away from our wedding. it so exciting and i can't wait. it's also starting to get a little bit stressful. unfortunately, i have to have a bit of stress to make me see the urgency. without it, i'm just like, eh...it'll work itself out. so for the next 55 days, i'll be a crazy woman. after that, i'll just let go :) whatever happens, happens. *sigh* let the stress test begin!

Your wedding...
more than a long-awaited day, it is the beautiful beginning of all the days of your life together.
Your vows...
more than solemn words spoken before family and friends, they are promises made and kept within your own hearts.
Your love...
more than just a wonderful feeling, it is a bond that deepens with time, growing stronger and surer from this day forward.
As you celebrate your wedding, your vows, your love, know that others share in your joy and in the hope that all your married days will be as happy as this one.
congrats alicia & ed!
many blessings and best wishes to the both of you.

rant: so full it is empty

my brain is empty...more specifically, it is so full that it is empty. i've got so much going on that i can't keep things straight. i have vendors call me and i'm like is this for ESPN, Texas Football Classic, ACC, my wedding or New World Wine and Food Festival. (sad fact: the cheapest of all the events i'm working on is my own wedding. it is amazing how much money corporations and rich socialites will spend on one evening of excitement.) i did not plan my life for 2006 well. way too much work stuff 2 months before my wedding. what was i thinking??? oh wait, when i made plans for work i wasn't thinking about getting married :) whew! at least one mystery solved...999,999 left...

rant: banded together - updated :)

just got word our wedding rings are done and on the way :) Kenny told us 6 weeks, but it's only been 3...so i'm excited. I feel naked without my engagement ring. i also have moments of panic when i don't see or feel it on my hand and i forget the jeweler has it. nice to not have those little panic attacks anymore. can't wait to see them!

update:
So the rings arrived at my sister's place yesterday and she was nice enough to take some lovely pictures and send them to me. They are exactly what we wanted and look amazing! he even buffed out my e-ring to look new. If you need a jeweler, Kenny at Supreme Gems is you guy...his craftmanship is excellent. He even impressed my sister and bro-in-law who have very high standards for their bling :) so here are some pictures of the lovely baubles.

so the wedding is for real, huh?
