since last year's MAC's barbie collection, i really wanted them to do a hello kitty collection. and guess what? they are! it will launch february of next year (yay!) i cannot wait! i really like MAC's makeup and really think their products are top notch so i will be shelling out some dollars for these limited edition items.

some basic details:

• there will be 2 lines - the colour collection and the kouture collection
• will have everything from makeup to makeup bags to dolls to cosmetic brushes
• kouture line will have swarovski crystals on the packaging
• shades range from pinks and turquoises to lavenders and greens
• will be in all doors, currently about 581 department and specialty stores in north america including nordstrom, bloomingdale’s and macy’s, as well as MAC’s 138 freestanding stores and at maccosmetics.com.
• internationally, the items will be in 1,307 doors in 69 countries, including 296 MAC freestanding stores outside north america.
• hello kitty kouture will be available at MAC stores and maccosmetics.com only.
• at the maximum, the collection will be available for eight weeks.

now if louis vuitton would follow in MAC's footsteps....
