so i was at h.e.b. picking dinner and made an impluse buy on my way to checkout. i have to say, probably the best impluse buy i've made in a looooong time (and probably the cheapest!). I picked up burt's bees lip shimmer in raisin.

i recently discovered i've stopped wearing lipstick to work and my justification is that i at least have some powder and blush on everyday. well, i noticed that my lips look dead at work since it is like a freezer here and i needed a new chapstick so i thought 2 in 1! so i tried it. it is really great! if you like burt's bees lip balm, you'll love this. it has the same pepperminty flavor plus really great color! i also discovered that if you leave it on for a while without eating, drinking, or wiping you mouth, it slighly tints you lips...which leaves a great sheer color. and for $3.70 i consider it an awesome deal...a much better price and nice alternative to the vincent longo gel lip & cheek stain ($22.50 at sephora)

*sigh* it's that time. time to pack up my life...things i've collected, purchased, kept, grown, and loved into boxes. time to make the decission on either to keep, donate, or throw away. This should be a relatively easy...except i'm a pack rat, a sentimentalist. I find thing that i've had since high school. (yes, it was a clothing item. no, i haven't worn it since then.) all my stuff have some kind of memory. as much as I love all these things, i'm moving on to a different chapter of my life now. and I just can't keep everything! So the daunting task of sorting, packing, and throwing away has begun. I have till June 11 and i'll be moved out of my own apt. I haven't lived with someone in about 6 yrs. so it will be a big change. no more doing things just my way or having the whole closet. don't get me wrong...i am so happy and excited to be starting the next chapter of my life. i'm just a little overwhelmed by the thought of having to pack everything up and move it! so here's to packing and moving...may everything fit into b's house :)

I was blessed to be a part of the most wonderful wedding this weekend. It was the sweetest and most touching wedding I've ever been to...and the most fun. How many weddings do you go to where the mother of the bride chugs a beer with the bride's friends? I've never been to a wedding where everyone there was truly happy and touched by these two amazing individuals. You can see the love and friendship everyone shared and how both Julie and Wai have shared their lives with everyone. From family to friends, there wasn't a dry eye in the room. I was lucky enough to be the crazy wedding coordinator for them. It was so much fun! Thank you to the entire wedding party and for all their help for making their day beautiful and special. Thank you to Jeremy and Cynthia for always being there to help no matter the crazy task. Brooks and Leigh...you guys were amazing photographers and I cannot wait to see all the photos. Thank you for catching every moment, memory and emotion of that day. To the DJ...props to you for getting Julies grandma on the dance floor. The Mr. and Mrs. Sheng...thank you for your hospitality and letting me get to know your family. It was truely a beautiful weekend!
